It has long life and is very easy to install. The Kindle Battery is a great backup battery. I love my Kindle and wouldn't know what to do without it.
I did that with my last battery and it lasted a year despite the fact that I used my kindle frequently. I try to charge is frequently rather then let it discharge all the way. I have small fingers and still had some trouble. I bought this battery in beginning of January, so I have only been using it for about a month. It's too early to judge how it performs. The battery is a bit hard to install.
My first generation Kindle quit working so I ordeded a new battery, After charging it quit working again right away, so we don't know if it is the battery or charging cord or some other problem. I wish someone could help
The battery lasts several years on these. Was very satisfied with the transaction. I just had to purchase my first replacement battery for my Kindle. Had an excellent experience with the purchasing and receipt of the battery.
It was pleasant to discover that a replacement battery was only $20, when I was expecting something at least twice that amount. The longevity of my kindle's battery was about 1.5 years, and was used a great deal. It was simple to replace, and my kindle is back up and running like gangbusters, or some more equally appropriate comparative entity/entities.
